Overview

Blinds are the simplest way to take charge of a room. How much light comes in, who can see you, how warm the place stays through winter, all of it. The catch is that no single style does everything. A dark bedroom, a steamy kitchen and a big glass slider each need something different, and picking wrong is an expensive mistake. That’s the part we help with.

Why HomeVista

Curtains Done Properly

We measure your place and cut every curtain to your window, so nothing turns up a couple of centimetres short. Good fabric, decent tracks, put up by our own team, and we stand behind it once it’s done. If a fabric won’t work in the room, we’ll tell you. You won’t get a sales pitch out of us.
A Quick Guide

Not Sure Where To Start?

Choosing curtains for your bedroom is easy: go with blockout curtains, or pair sheers with blockouts if you want both natural light and complete darkness. For living rooms, sheers usually work well on their own, letting in plenty of light while maintaining daytime privacy. First, decide the look and feel you want, then choose the fabric. If you’re still unsure, book a free measure and we’ll help you find the right fit for your home.

FAQ

Curtain Questions, Answered

How do I measure my windows for curtains?

The easiest thing is to let us measure on the free visit, then it’s exact. If you want a rough number first, measure the window width, add a bit each side, and decide how far above the frame and how low you want them to hang.

Higher and wider than the window makes a room feel bigger. We’ll set the track height on the day to suit your ceilings and the look you’re after.

Yeah, any of our curtain styles can run on a motor. You control them off a remote, an app or your smart home, and there are no cords hanging down, which is handy with kids or pets around.

Yep, we do it all the time. Sheers cover the daytime, blockout does the night, and both sit on a double track on the one window.

A light vacuum with a soft brush keeps the dust down. For a proper clean, check the care label first, because some fabrics wash fine and others need dry cleaning. We’ll tell you which yours are before you leave it too late.

Mould comes from damp and still air, usually near bathrooms or windows that sweat in winter. Let some air through, wipe the moisture off the glass, and if it’s a known problem in that room, go for a fabric that copes with damp better.
